I have over 20 years experience of working in early years and have always been passionate about nurturing the under fives and watching them develop and grow and assist with their transition to big school.

I started working at the Preschool in **** but originally trained as a chef before having my two now frown sons. I'm from the Netherlands and moved to the UK in 2016.

I’ve worked with Early Years children for over 30 years, it’s my great passion! I love to nurture a child’s individuality whilst working closely with their family. I am a caring and sensitive person with a great sense of fun.

I previously worked in a playgroup and then a day nursery in Oxford, where I completed my Level 3 Early Years training. I started working at Pre School in 2017 and now have 3 girls of my own.

I started working for the Pre School after completing my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies. 
However, I have completed work experience with the Pre School since the age of 16 and even attended myself when I was young.

Sophie started with us in 2023 and has been working towards her Level 3 qualification in childcare.  She has currently gone on Maternity leave to have her own baby.

I love helping make Pre School a safe and secure environment for children to start to experience the world away from their families. Over the last 7 years I have learnt something new from each child that comes through our doors. 

I’m a retired nurse and I am enjoying working at the Pre School now. It is a lovely way to feel connected to the community, meeting children & parents & staff. I trained as an early year’s teacher many moons ago so delighted to be working with children again.

Zena is the Pre School Administrator who deals with enquiries about enrolment, availability, change of sessions and funding or payment information.

All our staff are DBS checked and have safeguarding and paediatric first aid training. 

We are also regularly developing our knowledge in child development.

We are always interested in hearing from Level 3 (or above) qualified people who might be interested in joining our team in the future or becoming bank staff here at Stonesfield Pre School.
