My hobbies include, gardening, craft and enjoying valuable time with my grandchildren and family.

Georgia Townsend – Early Years Practitioner, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Senco

Hi, my name is Georgia and I’ve been working in early years for 3 before joining Stonesfield Pre School since April 2021. In my home life I have a daughter who is now at school and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and getting away for holidays and mini breaks when possible. I enjoy being outside and exploring new places. I love being a key worker in early years and creating bonds with both the children and their families and working with them to prepare the children for school.

Grace Gleeson – Early Years Practitioner

Hello, I’m Grace, I live in Stonesfield and started working for the Pre School in September 2022 after completing my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies. However, I have completed work experience with the Pre School since the age of 16 and even attended the Pre School myself when I was a toddler.

What I love most about working in Early Years is, how rewarding it is to see the children achieve their developmental goals and having the key responsibility of being a positive role model.

Hannah Willans – Early Years Practitioner

Hello! I previously worked in a playgroup and then a day nursery in Oxford, where I completed my Level 3 Early Years training. I have three girls, currently two at Stonesfield school and my youngest is here at Pre School.

I have a degree in fashion & clothing and love being creative! I enjoy keeping active, crocheting and spending time outdoors with my children.

Lizzie Wharton – Early Years Practitioner

I’ve worked with Early Years children for over 30 years, it’s my great passion!  I love to nurture a child’s individuality whilst working closely with their family.  I am a caring and sensitive person with a great sense of fun.

In my spare time I love to spend quality time with my family and keep fit.

Sandra Ward – Early Years Practitioner and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Hello I’m Sandra. I originally come from the Netherlands and moved here when I was 16. I started out training and then working as a chef before I had my two sons, after which I was a stay-at-home mum for a few years. I have been at Pre School for the last 8 years. I like gardening and crafting and cooking and you probably have seen me about with my collie called Jess.

Zena Rozee – Early Years Administrator

I have been the administrator of the Pre School for over 15 years, I also have 25 years experience in banking, but now work part time for both the Pre School and the Primary School. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, walking and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah Stone – Early Years Practitioner Assistant

I love helping make Pre School a safe and secure environment for children to start to experience the world away from their families. Over the last 7 years I have learnt something new from each child that comes through our doors.  When I am not at pre-school you will usually find me outside with my horse and dogs.

Claire Johnson – Early Years Practitioner Assistant

I’m a retired nurse and I am enjoying working at the Pre School now. It is a lovely way to feel connected to the community, meeting children & parents & staff.  I trained as an early year’s teacher many moons ago so delighted to be working with children again.
